I hope the new commission, created by Secretary of State Scanlan, will address voter confidence in New Hampshire elections beginning with a discussion of the redistricting maps being proposed by the Republican legislators.

Since voters in our towns and cities calling for fair maps are being ignored, it’s hard to see how confidence in our voting system can be justified. We should also add a discussion on the attempts by the same Republic legislators to promote the lie that New Hampshire has a problem with our voting system and therefore needs new legislation restricting access to fair and free elections.
