John Tobin’s feeble attempt, in his My Turn column (Monitor, 4/19), to turn the state constitution on its head in order to justify a state monopoly on education is so predictable that I debunked it two years before he published it, at Granite Grok (“School funding… Look, over there!”) in January, 2020.
