We all deserve the right to compassionate care. If someone needs an abortion, wouldn’t you want them to be treated with compassion and receive the care they need? The freedom to decide when and if to become a parent is one of the most important decisions that many of us will make. Radical right extremists and Gov. Sununu try to limit access to reproductive care and interfere in a private decision made by patients and their doctors. They seek to divide and distract us. Instead of making lives easier for families, they create obstacles and limit our freedom. Republicans make it difficult to access quality, affordable healthcare and childcare.
Four Republican members of the Executive Council have refused to accept federal funds for Planned Parenthood targeted for reproductive health care. We can’t trust Sununu, Republican members of the Executive Council and the radical right to protect our reproductive freedom and the freedom to decide if, how and when to grow our families. Elections matter. We must elect leaders with the strength and integrity to guarantee that we have he freedom to make our own decisions about our health. What can we do now? We must stand with and for each other and select real leaders who govern for all of us. Be a vocal advocate. Write letters and talk to your neighbors. #Re-elect Cinde Warmington and replace the four other Executive Councilors with candidates that recognize the need for compassionate care.
