Voters be aware. Dan Innis in NH’s Senate District 7 is trying to regain his Senate seat. He says he’s a school choice advocate. What he doesn’t say is he wishes to abolish the NH DOE throwing 200+ NH citizens out of work. Responding to Tim Baxter’s tweet, Innis tweeted, “I would say that we should abolish virtually every agency that has three or four letters as the shorthand name. The EPA, the DOE, that’s the department of education, etc.”

In NH, additionally to the DOE, it would look like this, naming just a few: DES: the Dept of Employment Security (234 workers), HHS: Health and Human Services (2,489 workers), DRED: Dept. of Economic Development (361 workers), DoS: Dept. of Safety including the DMV), Dept. of Motor Vehicles (556 workers), plus dozens more. He also proudly advertises he “Will fight the “Woke” agenda.” Woke originally meant white people waking up to some of the injustices in this country toward Black, Indigenous, people of color (BIPOC). That was and still is smart and good. White supremacist and right-wing conservatives have twisted something good into something evil and toss ‘woke’ as a denigration bomb towards those who understand our country has some reckoning to do regarding race relations. Innis touts his business experience and will “…fight for better jobs.” My question is how will he do that while throwing more than 3840+ NH working citizens out of their jobs by closing NH’s three/four letter agencies. Care about workers, vote Lobban.
