I will not be voting for Governor Chris Sununu’s re-election. I am tired of the Republican hypocrisy and I believe NH deserves better. In a state whose motto is ‘Live Free or Die,’ whose citizens vocalize that mask mandates are an infringement on their rights, that seat belts and vaccines suppress their freedom to choose, Chris Sununu signed into law an abortion ban that struck down a woman’s right to healthcare and autonomy over her body.
Chris Sununu rationalized that he is saving lives. If saving lives is his goal then he would champion organ donations and mandatory blood donations for everyone, but we know you can’t legislate what people can do with their bodies. NH needs a governor who represents all citizens’ rights. The right to choose how they live. The right to determine how they will pursue happiness. Not a governor who chooses which personal freedom will be accepted and which personal freedom will be legislated. I will be voting for Dr. Tom Sherman for the next governor of NH.
