Voters in Concord have a clear choice next month in the New Hampshire House race between a Trump-supporting Andrew Georgevits and retired federal lawyer Merryl Gibbs. Georgevits served as deputy state director for Trump in the 2016 campaign and watched him descend the escalator in Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue to launch his run for president.
“Trump plans out everything he does in life,” Georgevits told Politico at the time. “People think he doesn’t, but trust me, the man thinks 16 steps ahead. He has a vision, and he executes it.” Georgevits also serves on the controversial statewide Special Committee on Voter Confidence to find ways to prevent election fraud in the Granite State. There is and was no fraud here or anywhere in America in 2020, but Trump lost 60 federal court cases and raised hundreds of millions of dollars claiming otherwise. He kept that money. Atty. Gibbs, in contrast, worked for decades as a federal civil rights lawyer. She enforced anti-discrimination housing law on behalf of the very people Trump belittles, while he helps the super rich get richer.
