So is the attempted assassinationof Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh. So were the protests before the homes of the justices who did support Roe vs. Wade. There is a federal law on the books that prohibits protesting at the home of a justice because of a particular opinion. Hassan, Pappas, Kuster, Biden and Speaker Pelosi voiced their complete indignation for the violence on the Pelosi household. But they were completely silent on the acts on our Supreme Court justices. That silence affirms that these Democrats are not concerned about the safety of our justices who they do not agree with them politically.
Biden recently gave a speech because he was concerned about a domestic treat to our democracy. Attorney General Garland failed to charge those demonstrators at the justices’ homes with a law on the books prohibiting that activity. Sen. Schumer threated these same justices on the steps of the Supreme Court. The threat to our democracy is when politicians choose to exercise the rule of law only when it can be applied to U.S. citizens whom they agree with. Our democracy is safe when the rule of law is applied to all U.S. citizens regardless of their political point of view. Citizens who want to make America great again are not the threat to our democracy. The threat comes from those politicians who do not care to apply the rule of law to all of our citizens. Vote accordingly on November 8th.
