I will be casting my vote for Chris Sununu on Tuesday. My decision did not come lightly, and it’s based on his exceptional achievements over the past two years.

Although many thought it folly, the governor displayed his exceptional talent for showcasing the greatness of New Hampshire when he entered the fray to get the merchandizing giant Amazon to locate in our state. Not only did his proposal get the attention of the big boys like Massachusetts and other states that were willing to throw in tax forgiveness, land and the kitchen sink to seal the deal, it also demonstrated his outstanding ability to assemble an incredible team of state employees to put together a world-class marketing document. It was certainly worth the effort because that document has set the tone for his very successful pro-business administration.

Under Sununu’s leadership, New Hampshire has become the fastest growing state in all New England. As a mayor, I can attest to the fact that Sununu has supported local municipalities by designating federal “economic opportunity zones” and demanding the attention of federal agency heads to be proactive in supporting rural communities like Franklin.

Sununu has given New Hampshire’s municipal leaders the tools we need to grow our industrial and manufacturing businesses, and he has put in place a team of state officials who bend over backward to assist in our revitalization efforts.

For these and many other positive achievements by this governor, I ask you to join with me in voting for Chris Sununu on Tuesday.
