Highlights: Concord took a 4-2 lead into the final inning, but a spate of walks allowed Spaulding to take a 6-4 lead. In the bottom of the inning with a runner aboard, Taylor launched a laser to left-center that bounced off the top of the fence, missing a game-tying homer by inches. The loss leaves Concord at 7-8 and battling, along with 7-8 Spaulding, for one of the final playoff spots with three games to play.

Highlights: The Generals got another masterful outing from Philibotte in his second pitcher’s duel in a week. Stark took the lead in the second inning on Lisofsky’s single to left that drove home Williams and added an insurance run in the sixth on Brown’s sacrifice fly.
