Kathleen Ann Dorigo
Franklin, NH – Kathleen (Brown) Dorigo of Franklin, NH passed away
peacefully at the Hospice House, Concord, NH on Saturday, September
13, 2025. Kathleen was a resident of The Golden Crest, Franklin, NH.
Kathleen grew up in Franklin, NH, attended Franklin High School,
graduating with the class of 1964. She graduated as a RN from St.
Elizabeth’s Hospital School of Nursing. She worked at St Elizabeth’s
Hospital prior to moving to Germany, working as a civilian RN at
Landstuhl Medical Center. Upon return to the states, Kathy focused on
long term care and worked at several nursing facilities in
Massachusetts, including Pine Knoll Nursing Center of Lexington and
Sancta Maria Nursing of Cambridge. She also did private consulting
work in the area of long-term care. Following retirement from her
professional career and return to NH, Kathy worked in customer service
at AutoServ of Tilton.
Kathleen was predeceased by her parents, Ernest Brown and Frances
(Cushing) Brown, and by her brother, Robert J. Brown.
Kathy leaves many close and loving friends she acquired from all parts
of her life. She cherished each and every one and maintained a special
bond with each. Kathy always enjoyed meeting and connecting with
people, and was a wonderful mentor to many, especially those who were
entering the nursing field or related careers.
Kathy was an avid Boston sports fan. She followed the Red Sox,
Patriots, Celtics and Bruins faithfully and with great passion. She
always had the game on and knew the score.
A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 from
9:30 am to 10:30 am at the Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin
St., Franklin, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am
at St. Gabriel Parish of St. Paul Church in Franklin, after which we
will proceed to the Holy Cross Cemetery for burial. A reception will
follow the burial.
