To put it very broadly, there’s a lot going on in the world right now, and your local school board or city council race might not be front of mind.
That’s where we come in.
This year, the Monitor has created Concord Votes, a home base for all our election coverage with resources designed to help you, our neighbors and readers, navigate this municipal election. Concord Votes has everything you need to know, from the candidates โ and the issues โ you’ll see on your ballot to where you’ll go to vote.
This week, we’ve drawn up profiles on the candidates in each race based both on our reporting and on their responses to a questionnaire. Be sure to give those a look before our upcoming mayoral and at-large candidate forum on Oct. 9 and check for updates as the month progresses.
We know that elections affect everyone in our community, and thanks to our subscribers’ continued support, weโre able to provide free access to our election coverage this year. None of our election coverage will be placed behind the paywall. We hope youโll follow along and share this resource with your friends, family and neighbors.
Let us know: What questions are on your mind ahead of Nov. 4? What do you think we should be asking the candidates about? Submit your thoughts to news@cmonitor.com.
