Election planning for 2026 has begun, with perhaps the most important decision of all: the “I Voted” stickers that New Hampshire residents will get at the polls.
One features a picturesque covered bridge. Another shows a cheerful New Hampshire outline atop a snowcapped mountain. Others include an eagle, a bear, a moose, the Old Man of the Mountain and the American flag.
They’re designed by fourth- and fifth-graders across the Granite State. The winners, selected by the Secretary of State’s Office, are: Nirali Batra of Etna, Rajapuri Mahima Sai Singh of Lebanon, Evelyn Meyer of Chester, Bianca Prizio of Milford, Sierra Winslow of Nottingham and Sadie Winter of Windham.
More than 2,800 students from over 100 schools submitted their designs โ a contest so competitive that the state awarded six winners, rather than the usual four.
Lily Woo, the state’s civic and voter education coordinator, said the widespread interest is “clear evidence that young Granite Staters take great pride in the treasured and honored features that make our state unique.”
To see all the submissions, stop by the state offices at Granite Place, where they’ll be on display when the Legislature returns in January.
