Genocide and war crimes continue

On Nov. 29, two little boys, Fadi and Goma Abu Assi, aged 10 and 12 years old, were gathering firewood near the invisible “yellow line” that the Israeli military has established illegally in Gaza. The boys father had been injured and was unable to walk. The boys were gathering wood so the father could build a fire. The Israeli military killed the siblings with a drone strike and stated the boys presented a risk to the soldiers. Two little boys gathering wood. The Israeli military famously described themselves as the “most moral army.” This is tragically inaccurate and hypocritical. They willingly kill children in Gaza and the West Bank.

Our government and politicians continue to support Israel despite the ongoing war crimes. Representative Chris Pappas and Senator Maggie Hassan are ardent supporters of Israel and never seem to “see” the atrocities committed by that government towards the Palestinians. Their blinders are always on. It’s tragic and they are not people who support human rights despite their rhetoric.
