Twelve local basketball teams saw action on Saturday as the 2025 Capital Area Holiday Basketball Tournament tipped off.

Last year’s defending champions, the Bow girls’ and the Pembroke boys’ team, received first-round byes and were not slated to play until midday Sunday.

Girls
