In his letter, Thom Bloomquist suggests New Hampshire follow Florida’s lead in creating a property tax homestead exemption. Very appealing on its surface. Perhaps we could consider it when New Hampshire provides, as Florida does, over 40% of public school funding instead of our current worst-in-the-nation level.
