Concord Police are investigating a shooting on South State Street that left a man with non-life-threatening injuries.
The shooting occurred around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Officers on the scene found an adult male with a bullet wound, who was transported to Concord Hospital for treatment.
“All subjects involved in the incident have been identified and there is no threat to the safety of the public related to this incident,” police said in a statement. “This remains an active and on-going investigation.”
No other information was released.
Saturday’s shooting follows the death of a child at a South End residence on Friday morning.
Police said a boy was found dead inside a Dakin Street duplex. The emergency call came from a relative in the house as an โunattended deathโ at 7:55 a.m.
