Messing up the Earth
I write once again to ask the proponents of a bike trail on Mt. Kearsarge to please go back to square one and find some other location. Trail riding is tough on the earth, and that mountain deserves better.
In fact, so do all mountains, cities, countries, our planet — not one of them deserves to be spoiled. Neither do our sisters and brothers around the world, who escape war-torn countries, violent regimes and climate-altered environments. We in New Hampshire and all across the country should be continuing to welcome these refugees with encircling arms, providing the means for them to resettle and thrive with confidence in their families’ futures.
Currently, however, we are governed by a mean-spirited, narcissistic and tyrannical man who cares not a whit for the common good, as evidenced by the scattershot approach to solving the “Iranian problem.” In raining munitions down on them without a second thought for the wider military and political repercussions, never mind the civilians and US soldiers, he has demonstrated once again his ignorance of the world economy and the safety of humanity.
