Concord, NH – Susan Howe Stewart, 83, of Concord, New Hampshire, passed away surrounded by family on March 1, 2026
Born in Pennsylvania to David and Marjorie, Susan lived her life with curiosity and compassion supporting her friends and family. She was creative, an entrepreneur who created her own business making dried flower arrangements and wreaths that brighten the homes of many in NH. Susan also worked as a medical office manager while devoting herself to her family and home.
She embraced life. A licensed private pilot early in life, she loved adventure-whether flying like her father before her, playing tennis or golf, cross-country skiing, gardening, reading avidly, cooking, going to the ocean, or simply enjoying the sun on her face while driving her convertible. Her smile was warm and she looked for the good in everyone she met. Susan cherished family and friends. She was a devout Christian, who prayed every morning and was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
Susan is survived by her husband, Neil; her sons, Phil and Pete – their spouses Cindy and Mary; and her beloved grandchildren, Holly, Sean, Will, and Shea. She is also survived by her sister, Barbie, and was predeceased by her brother, Ned.
She will be remembered for her kindness, sincerity, warmth, and the joy she brought to those who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Susan’s memory to Donate – Granite VNA.
