Center Barnstead, NH – Kathy J. Carter, 65, of Center Barnstead, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, with family by her side.
Kathy was born on June 25, 1960, in Concord, daughter of the late Russell and Barbara Jean (Williams) Bussiere. She was educated in the local schools and went on to earn her associates in a medical secretary program. She worked for years at Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia, in Medical Billing.
When Kathy was not working, she was making memories with her husband, traveling to their favorite place on earth, Disney. A dedicated mother and grandmother, she enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her kids and grandkids. Kathy loved taking pictures and tending to her flowers and blueberry bushes. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, David Carter of Center Barnstead, son, Keith Carter and his wife Jenn, daughter, Jenny Trudel and her husband Nick, brothers, Michael Bussiere and his wife Gisele and Richard Bussiere and his wife Colleen, aunt, Linda Maher and her husband Tommy and seven grandchildren, Brock, Arianna, Haddon, Knox, Reagan, Colton and Maverick.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Granite VNA Hospice House, 30 Pillsbury Street, Concord, NH 03301.
