This spring students in Lori LaBrie’s basic sewing class at John Stark Regional High School created bunny bags and table runners as one of their first sewing machine projects. They also crafted woven baskets using recycled magazines to practice various forms of weaving.
“The baskets are perfect household catchalls and were used by some of my students to corral all the various pieces and parts of their projects,” Labrie said.
