The Concord High Unified soccer team made its first ever playoff appearance and got five goals from Drew Nadeau, but in the end lost to Londonderry, 12-7. Garrison Kelly and Tanya Blasko also scored for the Tide.
The Rundlett A boysโ soccer team lost to Elm Street Middle, 4-3, in the Tri-County Division I championship. Sujan Bhujel and Garrett Miskoe scored for Rundlett, which also got solid games from Owen Currier, Max Grant, Salvatore Aubin, Kody Rashed, Nader Watcher and keeper Max Lahey, who made a number of important saves to keep the game close.
The Bow Middle School boysโ soccer team lost to Hampstead, 2-0, in its championship match. Patrick Wachsmuth had a tremendous game at outside back. Noah Leuchtenbergerโs midfield play kept his team in it to the very end of the game. Zack Anderson and Matt Lamy pressured well offensively.
Freshman Haley Wakefield scored two goals and senior Katie Martin added three assists to lead third-seeded Plymouth State University to a 4-2 win over sixth-seeded University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in the opening round of the Little East Conference field hockey tournament

Second grade pre-season basketball league run by Concord High School basketball coaches Dave Chase and Tim LaTorra will lead volunteer coaches through skills and drills. The league will focus on fundamentals of basketball while also introducing team play. The program runs on Saturdays from Nov. 4 through Dec. 16.
FieldHouse Sports Indoor Sports Facility soccer skills and goalkeeping clinics will begin Nov. 6 and run for six weeks. Clinics will be directed by Jorge Pardo, Director of Caramba Soccer Camps. Clinics are for ages 6-60 for all abilities and meet on Monday afternoons. The cost is $55 for ages 6-8 and $65 for ages 9-adult. Bishop Brady and St. John Athletic Hall of Fame induction will be held on Nov. 10 at 6 p.m. at Bishop Brady High School. The 2017 inductees include Neil Ackley (class of โ69), Robert Paveglio, (โ69), Joe Farrelly (โ73), John Hardiman (โ67), Chelsea Proulx (โ06), Scott Laliberte (โ85) and Coach Greg Roberts who will receive the Sixth Man Award.
