A Nashua woman is believed to have violated the state’s electronic mobile device law when she was involved in a car crash Wednesday evening.
Paige Corriveau, 27, was driving north on Interstate 93 in Bow at 7:55 p.m. on March 1 when her 1998 Toyota Corolla went about 100 feet off the road and crashed into the treeline, according to a New Hampshire State Police press release. Corriveau, who was traveling with a 5-year-old passenger at the time, was transported to Concord Hospital with injuries that were not deemed life-threatening, police said.
An investigation into the crash revealed Corriveau was using a mobile electronic device at the time of the crash, according to the report. Troopers and local officers said they were on the lookout for her vehicle prior to the incident after receiving reports of erratic driving. The vehicle was totaled.
Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has information regarding this incident is asked to contact Trooper Christopher Elphick of the New Hampshire State Police, Troop D, at 271-3636.
