A day after releasing Jordan Matthews, the New England Patriots found his replacement by signing 31-year-old wide receiver Eric Decker to a one-year deal on Thursday, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Decker played for the Tennessee Titans last season, catching 54 passes for 563 yards and one touchdown. The receiver also notably spent time with the New York Jets and Denver Broncos.

Decker, a third-round pick in 2010 out of the University of Minnesota, will again be paired with a future Hall of Fame quarterback in Tom Brady.

Decker caught 172 passes for 2,352 yards with 24 touchdowns during his two seasons (2012, 2013) playing alongside Peyton Manning in Denver.
