The front page news story about the Weare School Board member and the roped-off Concord playground shows the immediate need for minimum competency testing for elected officials. This newly elected board member displayed a spectacular degree of ignorance, if not stupidity, about the overall present day health issues at hand in our New Hampshire communities these days. And this board member will be called upon to make thoughtful and informed educational decisions for administrators, teachers and students?
