■The Knights of Columbus Council is offering a pick-up and take-out meal Wednesday evening at St. John the Baptist Parish Hall from 4:30-6 p.m. or until the Council runs out of food. Free will offerings are accepted and appreciated.

■On Wednesday and Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. ECS will have tables in the front half circle with any of the classroom items, lost and found, and a location to drop off Chromebooks. Tables will be arranged youngest to oldest, with the kindergarten tables near the far entrance can collection trailer area and eighth grade by the flag poles along the curb.
■On Thursday there will be a drive-through retirement celebration for Mr. Swain and Mrs. Teune for their many years of service to ECS. They will be in the middle school lot and families are welcome to drive by and wish them well between 1-2 p.m.

■The Pittsfield Historical Society is postponing the Sanborn Mills Farm program that was originally scheduled for Wednesday.
■Congratulations and best wishes to the PMHS Class of 2020! This has not been an ideal way to finish out your senior year, but cherish ALL the memories of your high school years! Good luck with whatever the next step is in your lives. Study hard, work hard, play hard, be safe and have fun!
■The last day of school is Friday. Virtual versions of several end-of-year transition celebrations, as well as several special events, are being planned. The schools are trying to include all the traditional elements of end-of-year celebrations to the greatest extent possible. Celebrations are scheduled as follows: kindergarten (Monday, 6 p.m.), grade 5 (Tuesday, 6 p.m.), grade 6 (Wednesday, 6 p.m.), grade 8 (Thursday, 6 p.m.), PES whole school morning meeting (Friday, 8:30 a.m.), PMHS end-of-year assembly (Friday, 11 a.m.), end-of-year staff parade (Friday, 2 p.m.). ■The Hanging Flower Basket project is in the works. A small group of volunteers are set to plant and hang these lovely baskets in early June.
