Aaron Saffian, a senior at Concord High School, has achieved the rank of Eagle Scout with two Eagle Palms. This accomplishment represents 12 years of adventure, fun, work and dedication to the Cub Scout and Boy Scout programs for Aaron, a member of BSA Troop 75 in Bow.
His Eagle service project was to design and construct a hiking trail on the Hammond Nature Preserve in Bow. This project, the 9th Eagle Scout project on the Hammond Nature Preserve done by the scouts of Troop 75, was the first to put in a trail where one never existed before. As such, Aaron had to coordinate closely with the Bow Open Spaces organization and Bow Conservation Commission.
Aaron was formally presented the Eagle Scout award at a Court of Honor ceremony on May 11.
