One thing I always do before sending my occasional free copy of the Monitor to its proper disposition at a local Humane Society is read what those on the left are “thinking.” Today I find out that there is a FICA loophole!
I read where Sen. Jeanne Dietsch (Monitor letters, May 21) is going to save the state of New Hampshire by closing it. I can hear Mighty Mouse singing, “Here I come to save the day” at the top of his lungs. I’m sure more revenue will just pour in as a result.
I never knew that paying less of the money I earned into taxes was the result of a loophole that, when closed, would rightfully send that money to the state. It’s just like the gun show loophole will put an end to mass shootings. If only we could get more tax refugees from Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey to move here so they could continue to vote in the same types of people (Democrats) who made their former states the tax hells that they fled.
I haven’t met very many Democrats who could think critically enough to realize that, and probably never will. Then Sen. Dietsch uses a variation of the phrase all Democrats love to use – it’s for the children. When you hear that, hold on to your wallet for dear life. Democrats just don’t get it and never will. Vote them out the first chance you get or risk becoming another Connecticut.
