There will be nighttime lane closures on Interstate-89 in Hopkinton for the next 10 weeks as the New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will repair the Jewett Road Bridge. Work is set to begin Monday, May 17.

The overpass is located just south of Exit 4 and all lanes on I-89 will be open during the day.

The Exit 4 southbound on-ramp will be closed during the nighttime hours when crews are working on that end of the bridge. Motorists will be detoured to the I-89 on ramp at Exit 2 via NH Route 9/202 and the Langley Parkway (6.5 miles). Detour signs and message boards will be used to direct motorists.

During the work the Jewett Road bridge over I-89, the local traffic will be limited to one lane of alternating two-way traffic using temporary traffic signals.

This work is part of the $1.42 million Concord and Hopkinton project. Modern Protective Coatings of Hudson is the prime contractor.
