With 3 to 5 inches of snow in the forecast, Concord has banned parking on city streets after midnight.

To make room for plowing operations, cars won’t be allowed to be parked on any city streets between midnight and 7 a.m. Wednesday, according to Concord General Services.

For residents who rely on street parking, the city’s various garages will be free from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m.

Weather reports predict the snow will begin about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and continue through noon tomorrow.
