10th Annual ForMatt Foundation Golf Tournament will be held Friday at Derryfield Country Club in Manchester. The non-profit Foundation was formed to honor the memory of Matt Choiniere, a former Concord High student-athlete who passed away in 2008 at the age of 22. The ForMatt Foundation provides grants for children that allow them to participate in healthy activities such as sports, music, art, theater and more. The registration fee is $100 per player. NFL Flag Football is being offered by Concord Parks and Recreation. It is a league for boys and girls, ages 6-11. The league provides boys and girls the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of football while playing in a safe environment. The league runs Sundays from Sept. 9 to Oct. 21. Ages 6-8 meet from 9:30-11:30 a.m., ages 9-11 meet from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and ages 12-14 meet 1:30-3:30 p.m. Final signup deadline is Aug. 24.
