Two people were transported to Lakes Region General Hospital after a fiery crash on Route 107 in Belmont Wednesday night.
Police said the head-on collision happened Wednesday just before 8 p.m. near Durrell Mountain Road and Middle Route.
One car burst into flames near a utility pole, which also caught fire.
Police said they expected power and phone service may be affected because of damage from the collision. Route 107 was closed Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
The crash is still under investigation.
