With concern growing about the effects of concussion from youth sports, Dartmouth-Hitchcock is sponsoring a free symposium at Southern New Hampshire University to discuss what is known about the problem and its possible solutions.
“Concussions: Risks, Realities and Reforms” will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 13 at SNHU’s Webster Hall in Hooksett.
Among the panelists will be Matt Chatham, retired linebacker for the New English Patriots; Mike McCann, a sports law professor and writer for Sports Illustrated; sports concussion expert Dr. Bill Storo; and Amy Hollingsworth, director of the Safe Sports Network at the New Hampshire Musculoskeletal Institute.
