The great tragedy of the 20th Century was the carnage of two world wars. Alliances were formed to prevent a World War III. Russia, Iran and Donald Trump cheered at the result of the BREXIT vote in the UK.
Weakened European unity will invite aggression and make the world less safe. Donald Trump was only concerned about how the decision would benefit his golf course business. He has talked about breaking up NATO, using nukes and supporting nuclear proliferation in Japan and South Korea.
Brits are already expressing buyer’s remorse for an impulsive protest vote that will hurt the protesters and destabilize the world financial markets for all of us. May this episode serve as a cautionary tale for us to avoid the buyer’s remorse Republicans, Democrats and Independents will feel the day after a Trump victory in November.
