The Hatbox Theater at the Steeplegate Mall will host the premiere of a new play, Ray of Light, by New Hampshire playwright G. Matthew A. Gaskell.

Plymouth State University graduate Karielle Anzaldi stars in the one-woman show as Emily Burke.

Emily’s day starts rough; she got drunk last night and now she’s hungover. She’s late for work, out of coffee and her phone just won’t stop ringing.

Scrambling to keep her life together, Emily fills in the blanks of what happened last night as you watch in real time.

Ray of Light is the seventh full-length play by Gaskell.

Shows will be Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $16.50 for adults and $13.50 for students, seniors and members. Reserve at hatboxnh.org or call 938-5158.

The show is for mature audiences only.
