Have you ever wondered how the Native Americans lived so harmoniously with nature? Do you wish you could just spend a day with them and celebrate the harvest season, while learning more about the natural world?

The Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum and The Nature Discovery Center of Warner will celebrate Harvest Moon and Nature Fest on Sunday, Sept. 26. This event takes place rain or shine from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Pow Wow Field at 18 Highlawn Road.

The NH Audubon Center will present โ€œRaptor Rapture,โ€ which will include live raptors. Learn about these predators, how they adapt and what we can do to help them.

Savor Native foods made from the Three Sisters, bison and other local ingredients. Enjoy craft demonstrations on basket weaving, beading, leather work and dream catcher design. Try your hand at tomahawk throwing and join a guided walk through the Medicine Woods.

Admission is $10 for adults; $5 for children and members; $30 maximum per family, with plenty of free parking. Admission fee includes all activities and entrance to the Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum and the Nature Discovery Center.
