I live in Cornish, which is one of the towns in Senate District 5. I’m proud to say that my state senator is a truly wonderful woman named Sue Prentiss. For the past two years, she has done an amazing job of representing the district in every way possible. Redistricting has added towns like New London to District 5, and I hope the voters in those new towns will support Sue’s re-election so she can continue her service to the district. Senator Prentiss is an E.M.T. with decades of experience working for our state. She has incredible energy and dedication, and unlike some now in office who care only for short term political victory, Sue cares about the long term best interests of those she represents.
She will fight for women’s rights to control their own health care, and for preserving our system of public education. She will work hard to make government responsive to the real needs of Granite Staters. As a former Democratic leader of the NH House and state senator, I can say these things about Sue because I have known her since I was the state senator for District 5 some fifteen years ago. I have seen her work, and become her friend, and I can say with absolute certainty that she will be the best possible senator for District 5. Please neighbors, give her your vote.
