What was the highlight of your season? The highlight of our season was beating Windham and Gilford in matches.
Who was the unsung hero of your team? I would have to say the unsung heroes on our team were Maddy Todd and Hannah Dow. Always picking up the balls everyone else couldn’t, and putting it away when the team needed it.
What was the biggest surprise of the season? The biggest surprise was beating the teams listed above. We all knew we could do it, but accomplishing it was surprising and such a great feeling . Even though we lost overall, we all worked very hard for the couple matches that came out to a win.
Do you have any sports superstitions? If so, what are they? Some personal superstitions I have during the game is serving. I always bounce the ball to the ground three times , no more or no less. And I think it helps me get my serve over.
If you could go to any sporting event, what would it be? If I could be at any sporting event , it would be beach volleyball. It’s easier to dive because it’s sand and not a gym floor. And I love the beach and volleyball, so putting the two together is a win-win.
If you weren’t playing your sport in the fall, what would you be doing? If I wasn’t playing volleyball in the fall, I would be working more, and not having a solid schedule.
