Doris “Dottie” McKoan was given the Boston Post Cane by the Chichester select board on April 10 for being the town’s oldest resident. She settled in Chichester on Bear Hill Road in 1984. McKoan is an active member of the Chichester Historical Society and artist, including two barn sketches used on notepaper used by the society.
