Concord Post 21 pitcher Jonah Wachter tossed a second straight complete-game shutout during a 9-0 win over Weare Post 65 on Friday night at Saint Anselm College. He allowed only two hits and struck out seven.
Ryan Tessier tallied two hits, scored three times and drove in two for Concord (3-2), while Jacob Knowles added two hits, two runs scored and four RBI to lead Post 21. Jake Sullivan had two hits, and Sean McDonough and Trevor Smith each drove in a run.
Concord Post 21 will compete in the Capital City Challenge, starting Saturday with an 8 a.m. opener against Freedom Baseball at White Park, before taking on the NE Hurricanes at 12:30 p.m. at the same venue.
