I will be voting for Byron Champlin in the upcoming municipal election.
Byron has been an excellent representative for his constituents as a ward councilor and, most recently, councilor at-large. I have known and worked with Byron for three decades, and during that time I have witnessed his strong commitment and dedicated service to our community.
He thoroughly researches issues and makes informed decisions. He listens to all points of view – even when he may disagree. He has worked equally hard on all of the diverse issues facing our city, such as expanding Concord’s creative economy and eliminating homelessness. He always takes the long view to making our community a great place to live.
As a lifelong Concord resident, I am particularly interested in preserving the character of our residential neighborhoods, repurposing historic buildings and maintaining a vibrant downtown. Byron has proven that he understands the tension and delicate balance between historic preservation and economic development.
Our city deserves dedicated representation and strong leadership, and Byron Champlin has earned my vote.
