The highlight of my soccer season this year was my last-minute goal against Coe-Brown in the first round of the playoffs. I didn’t score too often this year (or in general), but that was probably the most important goal that I have ever scored.

The unsung hero of our team this year was Tyler Restuccia, one of our center-backs, which is a tough enough job as it is. He played every minute of every game, and he was lights out for all of it.

The one thing I could do to improve high school soccer would be to get rid of the rule that requires us to wear mouth guards – after four years, they will not be missed.

I don’t have any serious superstitions for soccer that I take with me year-round, but I did have one specifically for the high school season. Before every game, the team splits into two lines and takes a short sprint, high-fiving Coach in the process. Since my freshman year, I am always the last one in the lines to high-five coach.

I don’t know if I could pick just one person on my team that is the funniest. However, I can guarantee that there isn’t a collectively funnier team in the state than John Stark.

Ryan Reynolds is my favorite actor, so I hope he would be in the movie – maybe as my coach? And if Ryan Reynolds was to play my coach, I would hope that I could play myself.

I think the biggest misconception about my sport is that we are all a bunch of softies, with how notorious flopping is and whatnot. Some of us definitely are soft, but not all of us.

My favorite movie of all time is The Shawshank Redemption – I could probably watch that movie forever.

I think children will ask me about what technology was like when I was a kid. Just in my lifetime so far, we have gone from Nokia phones to the iPhone X, so I can only imagine all of the crazy stuff the children of the next generation will be exposed to.

I usually either get my news from either social media (especially Twitter), from watching the news, or from the >italicres<.

I don’t normally quote movies often, but when I do, they are usually from either Spaceballs, Anchorman, or Pulp Fiction.

If I built a themed motel, I would probably do a sort-of spaced themed one. The rooms would be normal, but they would have views of the stars and the hallway would be zero-gravity.

The best thing I could hope to find in a cave is some sort of hidden treasure. That is reasonable, right?

>boldres<

If I could go to school in any foreign country, I would probably go to Italy. The country itself is beautiful, the history there is awesome, and the soccer is some of the best in the world, so there isn’t much more that I could ask for.

The opposite of a koala is probably like a elephant. Koala are small and they notoriously lack intelligence, and elephants are large and are very emotionally intelligent.

I think that I would ask a time traveler about the overall state of the world; for instance if we were still fighting each other, who are the world powers, etc.

If I had to show a tourist what life was really like in Weare. I would first make them listen to trucks revving their engines for 4 hours, then have them shovel a driveway, and then expose them to temperatures ranging from 30 degrees to 90 degrees in a span of 30 minutes.

The most boring superhero I can come up with is a guy whose only power is that he always knows exactly what time it is. I don’t think that would be very useful.

The best thing about being a teenager is knowing that you have your whole life ahead of you, and that you can do anything you want with that time. The worst thing about being a teenager is all of the pressure that is put on us, to succeed and to fit in.
