My wife and I had our first COVID-19 vaccinations yesterday at the Steeplegate Mall in Concord. The process was an exercise in precise planning and execution. We pulled up, presented our licenses, and were directed into what was formerly the auto section of Sears. After a few more questions for verification, we held out our arms to a volunteer nurse who administered the Pfizer vaccine.
We just wanted to publicly thank the National Guard members, local police and firefighters, and the medical volunteers who made the experience as painless as possible and a model of efficiency. In a challenging time such as this, seeing and experiencing so much selfless cooperation helps keep the darkness from spreading any further. Thanks to everyone involved for their sacrifice and professionalism.
