Assistant superintendent is an important role in the Concord School District and requires someone with the proper education, experience and certification. While the incumbent may possess the first two, she lacks the third. And while she has been working with the New Hampshire Department of Education and district administration on a plan to obtain the third, it has not occurred in a reasonable amount of time.
I am sure during her tenure with the district she has had to deal with or be involved in situations where there was a demonstrated lack of judgment, worked with individuals on improvement plans or licensing issues, and may have even delivered consequences for less than required outcomes.
This recent event with district administration demonstrates an egregious error in ethics, not only on her part but on the part of others as well.
Do the right thing, Donna Palley. Please. Yom Kippur will be here soon, which is the holiest day of the New Year and which, by its very nature, is celebrated by taking action to correct previous wrongdoing on one’s part. What a perfect time to demonstrate to this community your faith in action.
