ORIS is thrilled to host the 2nd annual UMOJA Gala on March 14 at 6 p.m. at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord. The UMOJA Gala is a special evening to celebrate the many cultures of the people they serve and to learn more about the mission and work of ORIS. The Women’s Club of Concord is offering a scholarship opportunity to female high school students pursuing a college education in the fall of 2020. Consideration is given to academic achievement, community service, financial need, interest in women’s issues, and leadership. Due date is April 1.
