What was the highlight of your season? The highlight of my season was during our Stevens game where I had 12 strikeouts and was still on a streak of over 20 at-bats where I hadn’t struck out once.

Who was the unsung hero of your team? I think Gina Costello was the unsung hero. She had unbelievable range on the ball and was unstoppable when she got on base.

What was the biggest surprise of the season? The biggest surprise for me was how well we all bonded as a team and also how much everyone improved.

Do you have any sports superstitions? If so, what are they? For every new season I sort of develop a different superstition. One that I always have is just eating extremely healthy the day of a game.

What’s your favorite pre-game meal? My favorite pre-game meal would be fruit.

If someone was going to make a movie of your season, who would play your coach? Who would play you? Kevin Costner would play my coach and Jennifer Lawrence would play myself.

What was the last gift you gave someone? Flowers to my mom.

What is the funniest thing that has happened to you recently? It was during one of our last games. I was mid-pitch and behind the backstop I saw my dog take off, practically dragging my sister and then a line of everyone chasing them.

If you could have dinner with any three people, who would it be? And what would you serve? I would actually have dinner with only one person and it would be my Nana because she passed away when I was born and it would give me the chance to talk to her. I would serve seafood.

If you got $1 million to start a company, what would you do? Even though it has nothing to do with what I would like to go into, I would start up a small family restaurant.

If you had to go on a talent show, what would you do? If I had to go on a talent show I think I’d honestly just pitch because its something I’m pretty confident in.

What inspires you? My own goals inspire me. Thinking about what I want to do while I’m working to get there inspires me to keep going and keep trying harder.
