Colby-Sawyer results

Dana Bean (Franklin) and Jourdain Bell (Manchester) combined for 15 points for the Colby-Sawyer menโ€™s basketball team in a 72-60 season-opening loss to Colby.

Emmani Robinson notched 10 points with nine rebounds for the Colby-Sawyer womenโ€™s basketball team in a 49-34 win over Norwich. The victory sends the Chargers into the semifinals of the Cave Classic Tip-Off Tournament hosted by Bridgewater State.

Soccer clinic

FieldHouse Sports Indoor Facility in Bow is accepting registrations for its Soccer Skills and Goalkeeping Clinics which will begin on Dec. 18. Plymouth State junior Sam Brunnette was named the US Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association New England Runner of the Year. Brunnette, who won the NCAA Division II New England Regional Menโ€™s Cross Country Championships, will compete for a national championship on Saturday at Principia College.

Cap City Basketball is hosting six clinics in November for players in kindergarten through 10th grade. Concord Crush Learn to Play lacrosse clinics will be held this winter. This will be a co-ed clinic for players in grades 1-4. Warren Miller ski film โ€œLine of Descentโ€ will be showing five times at the Music Hall in Portsmouth on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
