The accolades keep coming for the Hopkinton girls’ lacrosse team.
In addition to winning the Division III champion and ending the season with a perfect 17-0 record, senior attacks Lyndon Flanagan and Amelia Bassett, and senior defender Amelia Thomas were all named to the D-III All-State First Team and to the Twin State roster, while senior midfielder Ellie Morrall was named to the Second Team.
The Twin State game, featuring the top seniors from New Hampshire against Vermont’s top seniors, will be played on June 22 at Lebanon High School.
D-III was well-represented with Kearsarge midfielder Emilie Webster earning First Team and Twin State selections. The Cougars, D-III semifinalists, had four Second Team honorees – Megan Norris (attack), Ally Wilson (attack), Brie Von Beren (midfield) and Livia Hernon (defense).
John Stark senior goalie Sam Porter also earned a First Team selection for D-II and a spot on the Twin State team, while Bow senior Kimberly Gosselin (defense) was named D-III First Team.
