My name is Natalie Wells, and I am running for for state representative in Merrimack District 25 (Andover, Danbury, Salisbury, Warner and Webster). I have set down roots in Warner, raised two children and now enjoy seeing my two grandchildren grow up.
My working life has been a diverse mix, including medical assistant, banking and owner-operator of a small family business for 20 years. Iโve been active in the community as a deacon in my church, a Sunday school superintendent and a Little League secretary.
Our state has been consumed with political correctness, which has taken away too much decision-making from our families and communities. Small businesses โ the engine of our economy โ are closing because of over-regulation and taxation. We need to change course.
Our college students are left with the highest debt of college loans in the country. We need to find ways to reduce in-state tuition.
I stand firmly in the belief that the best government is a limited government focused on fulfilling its constitutional duties. If elected to the House, I promise to fight against any effort to impose a state sales tax or income tax. I will work to make sure government lives within our means, and will always favor individual liberty over greater government intervention and control.
I hope I have a chance to talk with you as I knock on doors in the coming months or meet you at community events. If you have any questions, or would like to share your opinions with me, I may be reached at nataliewells4nh@gmail.com or 456-2873.
