Docents who have been trained about the background of the various sculptures placed in Meredith’s village and parks will lead tours of the 2021 Meredith Sculpture Walk this summer. There are 25 new pieces displayed along with seven returning pieces from last year. Docents will explain the creative process of the artists while they sculpted their pieces as well as the materials and construction.

In its eighth year, this is an opportunity to learn more about the public art that has been installed by the Meredith Sculpture Walk Committee. Sponsored by the Greater Meredith Program, the Meredith Sculpture Walk is committed to developing awareness and enjoyment of public art in Meredith, NH for residents and visitors. It is a year-round, outdoor, juried exhibition.

Tours will leave from in front of Innisfree Bookshop located in the Mill Falls Marketplace on Wednesdays and continue until Sept. 22. Tours later in the fall and special group tours can be arranged by emailing GMP@greatermeredithprogram.com or calling 279-9015.
