A person was stabbed during a fight at a homeless encampment near Black Hill Road, according to Concord Police.
Police arrived at the camp near the Merrimack River in South Concord Tuesday night in response to a report that people were fighting and one had been stabbed.
The individual, who sustained one wound, was brought to Concord Hospital and is expected to survive. Police interviewed people at the scene and believe that all those involved in the fight previously knew each other.
“Detectives conducted several interviews and it does not appear that this was a random event,” police said in a statement.
Police did not identify any suspects or arrests.
